Women in Leadership: Becoming a Conscious Leader

Philanthropy New Zealand is delighted to be partnering with Centre for Social Impact to bring you a world-class leadership development programme for women. Leadership combined with new ways of thinking are key to finding inclusive, creative and challenging ways to work with the major issues our societies face.

I wanted to update you with the clarification that the Women in Philanthropy: Becoming a Conscious Leader workshop aimed at mid-career and senior women leaders in the philanthropic sector, is a 6-day leadership programme to be delivered in two 3-day sessions over 6 months.

The October programme will help you to develop the skills and give you practical tools needed to be a contemporary, conscious and resilient philanthropic leader. 6 key themes will be explored over the course of the 3 days:

  1. Conscious leadership
  2. Leading self
  3. Leading others
  4. Coaching
  5. Leading societal change
  6. Social innovation

The leadership programme will create a network of women leaders for support and continual learning opportunities.

This professional development programme has been designed to build on the first programme held in November 2014 but is also suitable for new participants.
