The Centre for Social Impact has recently completed a review of effective ‘early years’ interventions based on national and international evidence. The purpose of the review for Foundation North and NEXT Foundation was to support both Foundations in their decision-making around philanthropic investment to improve early childhood outcomes.

Centre for Social Impact Launched
A national centre of excellence for the support of innovative responses to complex social issues has been launched by Foundation North. The Centre for Social Impact is being established to support major social investments by philanthropic trusts, government and local government agencies, community organisations and corporates.
Building Teacher Heroes
'Teachers as heroes' is the subject of a recent blog post from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Through Foundation North funding and support for Māori and Pacific education initiatives we’re seen what a difference our teachers make, so this blog post made a lot of sense to us.
